The best Pizza and BBQ I've had anywhere, not just St John. I spent a career in the restaurant business. Johnny Lime attention to detail shows the professionalism in this restaurant, from the perfect Pizza crust, to the well seasoned and juicy & tasty BBQ. To the Foodrunner with a work ethic that will serve her well in years to come and the Bartender that came with the restaurant when it was the Oasis A must stop when in Coral Bay, you won't be disappointed
Food was delicious! Ribs were tender and smoky, and grilled catfish sandwich was well seasoned and went nicely with the aioli sauce. Highly recommend!
THE PIZZA. Run don't walk to get the best pizza on the islands. Seriously incredible crispy sourdough crust that rivals the best I've ever had. Get a Josephine's Greens side salad with the passion fruit dressing. Perfection.
You can taste the love in this food, by far the best we’ve had on the island (and in a long time, period!) No need to go out of your way to Cruz Bay for a special dinner— the robust flavors, chill atmosphere (s/o saxophonist!!), and friendly staff (s/o Katie!) at Johnny Lime will give you everything you need and more right in Coral Bay. We got the blackened catfish arepa, salad, coleslaw, cornbread, sweet potatoes, yucca fries, beans and rice, and the key lime pie. Every single element was spot on. Did not get the pizza but it looked amazing, too. We were also lucky enough to chat with Miguel (owner/chef) about some of the different recipes, and boy howdy, there is so much care, passion, and intention in each dish. TLDR: EAT HERE!!!
Such a perfect place to grab lunch! The pizza was delicious, cooked to perfection in the smoker, topped with fresh basil! By far the best pizza on the island. Ordered ‘Hunters passion’ drink, it was so refreshing, tropical, and sweet! Service was great and staff was friendly, my favorite being ‘Shy’ the beautiful dog who had no problem greeting guests and licking up crumbs!
One of the best in Coral Bay. Pizza, chicken, drinks- all very good. The rice and beans- surprisingly good! Laid back environment. Enjoyed trivia night. Staff was friendly. They’re are no seeums (or some other biting bugs) at dusk, so wear bug repellant. We ate there serval times and were never disappointed.
We’re here on vacation and this place was highly recommended by locals, and it did not disappoint! We had the 1/2 pound pulled pork (huge serving) with sweet potato wedges, potato salad, Mac and cheese and cornbread. Our family of 4 adults shared this- there was plenty! We’re going back to try the pizza as it looked and smelled divine! Highly reconciled! Really fun atmosphere overlooking the bay!
Great food, great people, great atmosphere. We came here twice during our 5 day stay and had a great experience both times. Our favorite foods included the fried chicken thigh, the jerk chicken, the pizza special (BBQ pork and jalapeño), the yucca fries, and the Hunter's Passion (drink). Prices are island standard and the food is great quality. We also appreciated that they had free WiFi. Definitely make a stop at Johnny Lime while you're in Coral Bay!
A FIVE-STAR laid back stop for brunch, lunch, dinner, or food-to-go at Johnny Lime, on the waterfront at Coral Bay, St John, USVI. So good, in fact, we dined THREE times at Johnny Lime (two to go) during our stay on the island. Great sandwiches and meals, plenty of sides plus specials, baked goods, drinks and desserts. We had the ribs, pickled veggies, rice and beans. Delicious food, friendly service. My cocktail was also the best one on this side of the island. Lots of folks were getting pizza, which looked yummy. We beat the rush for an early dinner straight from the beach. Also we sat at a table with a great view of the water.
